At Girassol we accept all sorts of donations ranging from clothing to bric a brac. Electrical items are also something we keep a range of, PAT tested by a qualified electrician. So whether you're looking for something for your home, a present or a unique piece of Mozambique we are an excellent place to stop. Our friendly volunteers will be glad to help find anything you're looking for. And if we don't have it, we will let you know when what you are looking for comes in, if you leave us your name and number!
We also are online sellers through Ebay, so if you prefer to shop from the comfort of your home, take a look at the amazing items we have online! On Ebay we sell under the name of girassolcharity_shop so look out for what we have selling, and you can also donate to us when you sell on Ebay under Transforming Lives and Communities, our registered charity name.
AIMS and OBJECTIVES
At Girassol we want to provide opportunities for local Christians to be salt and light at home and abroad. This is currently focusing on Antrim and Mozambique.
We also want to generate finances that can be used to empower the Mozambican Church to reach out in both Word and deed.
We want as we do this to be an evangelistic witness in the town of Antrim, and through Girassol shop and projects to raise awareness among local Christians of the needs of others/mission. Through the shop we also want to create a tangible way for people to give from "their wealth" to help those in need. (Acts 2v44-45)
